My painting style is a balance between detail and haze. I am drawn to neutral gentle tones with an aura of colour, glinting through both the background and the subject, to create an ethereal glow. I never aim for a precise reproduction of an image, as cameras can achieve that. What I look for is the communication of emotion, a theme that runs through every facet of my work.

In the pursuit of building a range of prints featuring popular breeds, I do occasionally offer a discount to specific types of commissions, if the owner consents to the reproduction of their pets image and gives me full rights to the usage.
Offers of this type are at my discretion, and I will let you know if I feel your dogs portrait would be a suitable candidate for this kind of arrangement.
